Container Transport

There are a few things that need to be considered when transporting a Shipping Container, including what type of truck will be needed to perform the job, the site access, the Shipping Container size, the destination (its layout & access) and the weight of the Shipping Container just to name a few. The most commonly used trucks in the Shipping Container industry are: Semi Trailer, Tilt Tray, Side Loader and Hiab Crane Truck (the latter not normally being suitable for loaded Shipping Containers). To transport your Shipping Container by a Semi Trailer, you will need a Forklift or Crane at both sites to be able to move your Shipping Container and position it on the truck. Semi Trailer is normally the most cost effective transport option available, if you have the means of loading & unloading the truck at either end, where as the other options are able to load & unload themselves if the need arises.
